Our History
About Us
Prior to setting up Cully Automation Ltd., Brendan spent almost 30 years working with instrumentation, metering, and telemetry in Ireland. The first 20 years of his career was spent as a technician giving frontline service support for instrumentation products in Ireland’s water sector for treatment plants, effluent plants, and distribution systems, additionally he supported in the power, chemical, pharmaceutical and food and dairy industries.
In 1991 Brendan joined ABB to set up a new team, ABB Instrumentation Ireland, soon becoming the number one supplier of instrumentation products and systems to industries in Ireland, including Northern Ireland. Brendan spent 9 years travelling the country building the business before leaving to set up Cully Automation Ltd. in 2000.
In 2019 Brendan stepped down as MD and David Cully, his son took over and is now managing Cully Automation Ltd.
Today Cully Automation Ltd. employs eighty-five full-time staff who have helped make Cully Automation Ltd. one of Ireland’s leading suppliers of products, systems, and services.
In early 2020, due to business growth we moved our head office to the Liffey Business Campus, which comprises 650m2 of modern office space and conference rooms, also located in Leixlip Co. Kildare. The old office space at Ryebrook, Leixlip, Co. Kildare is now a dedicated workshop, warehouse, RND hub and testing centre.
